CPSC Ambassador Program
— Summary of Purpose and Structure
Role
Ambassadors are trusted, experienced members who propose, plan, and manage trips for the community. They act as the “parents” of each trip. Not in a controlling sense, but in terms of responsibility, organization, and vibe management.
Core Responsibilities
-
Propose trip ideas with clear budgets, dates, and attendance goals
-
Coordinate all logistics (housing, food, transport, events)
-
Lead group communication before and during the trip
-
Host and manage the tone and energy of the trip
-
Ensure respectful behavior, safety, and participation
-
Submit full financial documentation (receipts) for transparency
-
Report any issues or violations to the core team for review
Financial Clarity and Accountability
-
Ambassadors never profit from trips
-
They attend for free only if enough members register to cover their portion of the costs
-
If attendance is too low, they may be asked to contribute a reduced share, or cancel the trip
-
All trip expenses must be documented with receipts and submitted after the trip
-
A copy of all receipts is shared with the attending members so everyone sees where their money went
-
Any leftover funds are used for in-trip needs or evenly refunded
This ensures total transparency and shared trust, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
Authority
-
Ambassadors can remove members from a trip for disrespectful, dangerous, or disruptive behavior
-
They are expected to enforce rules consistently and clearly
-
They are not responsible for babysitting, but they are responsible for structure
-
Ambassadors lead by example — and their reputation matters
